Today, I made the last dinner before mom and dad come home tomorrow. Today's dinner was cheese grits with brown-sugar-glazed ham steaks. The ham turned out okay, but the grits turned out divine. I was very pleased with the results, and so were the boys. It was a nice meal to end the school-week.
After dinner, I proceeded to troubleshoot some things on my computer. I had recently signed up with the absolute coolest online yoga community called Grokker.com. Professional yoga instructors put up professional step-by-step videos for any level of experience. And besides yoga, they provide other types of workout videos. They also provide cooking videos! (Just what I need, of course.) And the best part about all this is that it's free! I like free stuff, and you probably do too.
Anyway, I think I may have messed up something while signing up for the website a few days ago, because it only allowed me to access my page the first day, the day after, or something like that. I contacted their nice support team who asked me to try different things. I think I'm going to have to start a different account. I'm a little bummed, but more than anything, I'm just excited to get back to doing some good, no-charge yoga. Since my car accident, I've been craving to practice some yoga, since I'm still a beginner. But I'm afraid to get my headaches again, so I'm going to wait until next week. Maybe this whole trouble logging-in-thing was to keep me from being tempted to early in the healing process.
So when I'm not brooding over the power of yoga, I've been cleaning like crazy with crazy music stuck in my head. I've had every genre of music playing today, trying to get one song stuck out of my head. You see, two evenings ago, my brother Trey bought the Lego Movie. And if you've seen it, you know that Everything is Awesome. And that song has been sung non-stop since that night. I won't deny that I have been the instigator a few times, in between quotes from the movie and normal life occurrences. But in order to maintain my sanity, I've set aside the Awesome song for now. But the quotes haven't stopped, particularly the ones from Batman and Princess Unikitty.
From there I will finish cleaning the house and then will prepare for our road trip to Charleston to pick up my parents. And from there, we get to go to the beach!
Now off to business...
